Renault plans to introduce its new generation Duster SUV in the Indian market in 2025, spy pictures have revealed a seven-seater model, which will likely be called Renault Bigster, which will be initially sold in the international market.
Renault Bigster Design
The 2020 Renault Duster has been updated with a new design, featuring a new lighting layout with chrome inserts, projector lights, and fog lamps. The three-slatted chrome grille houses the Renault logo, while a chrome strip below the grille adds premium appeal. New elements have been added between the wheel segments, and the car now features square tail lights and a fake bash plate replacing the old bumper.
Renault Bigster Features
If we talk about the features of the Renault Bigster, then it has a strong look and strong shape, which includes Y-shaped LED DRLs, taillights, large wheel arches, body cladding, revised bumpers, functional roof rails, and pillar-mounted rear door handles. The cabin of the new generation Renault Duster has a new dashboard layout, center console, and seat upholstery. It has a floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging features, Automatic Climate Control AC, and a revised gear selector lever.
Renault Bigster Engine
The Renault Bigster is a seven-seat SUV that is 300 mm longer than the Duster and is built on the same CMF-B platform. It will have three engine options: a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol-hybrid, a 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol-hybrid, and a 1.0-litre petrol-LPG variant. It will likely have the front-wheel-drive and an optional (4×4)all-wheel-drive system.
Renault Bigster Launch Date In India
The Renault-Nissan Group has invested around Rs 4,000 crore in the new Duster, set to return in the second half of 2025, with the Bigster’s India launch following the five-seat Duster.
Renault Bigster Price
The Dacia Bigster, set to launch in 2025, is expected to be priced around 26 Lakh higher than the Duster, placing it above the range’s Duster.
