BYD Atto 3:BYD Atto 3 will be launched in India in 2024 with a Cosmos black shade, a larger infotainment display, and two new interior color schemes. The car has also received an ARAI homologation certification, allowing it to exceed the 2500-unit limit for CBU and SKD models and model the car from SKD to CKD, reducing costs. The update is expected to be launched on 10 July.

The vehicle boasts a panoramic sunroof, digital driver’s display, tailgate opening, powered front seats, a 12.8-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker sound system, and a wireless phone charger. It also features seven airbags, hill-descent control, a 360-degree camera, and driver assistance tech like forward collision prevention, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and blind spot monitoring.

BYD Atto 3 Motor And Charging Time

BYD’s electric SUV is powered by a single 204PS and 310Nm motor, sourced from a 60kWh battery pack. It has an ARAI-claimed 521km range and an 80kW charging speed, allowing a 50-minute charging time. The SUV measures 4,455mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,615mm in height, with a 2,720mm wheelbase and a 440-litre boot space.

BYD Atto 3 Price and Booking Amount

BYD India is set to launch a new entry-level Atto 3 electric SUV in July, with a downsized 50 kWh battery pack and a few feature deletions. The smaller battery pack will result in a lesser claimed range, but it is expected to have a lower starting price than the current model, priced at Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Select dealerships are accepting bookings for Rs 50,000.
